Well I finally did it, I got a tiller for a gt. Picked up a JD Model 31 with 1 extension and mule drive for my 68 JD 112.

Its ugly I had my doubt's when I went to look at it because the guy never had it on a tractor to test it, but my inner kid couldn't help but buy it. It did not come with the PTO to mule drive belt but luckily I had one that fit in my stash.I greased it up and took it out to play .....couldn't be happier it is quiet no unpleasant noises. Tomorrow ill get some more seat time with it.

The manual lift without spring assist is not as bad as I thought it would be but spring assist is definitely next on the list.

I like the seat!!!!reminds me of days gone by,best GT I ever saw was a full frame off restore..but it had the old seat on it,man that restored it said that seat held all the stories and character of the machine,I will never forget it!

I love this seat it keeps tearing more though if and when it comes time I'll put an original style seat back on. The dents, cracks and tears you see on these old tractors always make wonder how that happened. My grandpa calls it charactor.
