I don't know very much about Simplicity LGTs but I would sure like some information on this Simplicity mower, Advertisment says it has a 52" deck. If you're able to help please feel free. Thank you.

I didn't notice that when I first looked at that !  I got to say I don't think I would make it one mowing around my yard before I ripped it off lol .  I never knew they made 12.5 hp twin engines , learned something new all the time on this site

I have one of those.
It's a very good lawn mower.
It will run a snowblower.
But, it is not a garden tractor.
It's a 38" or 42" deck that cuts very well.
It's a belt driven machine. With a verticle shaft B&S engine.

Thank you for the input gentlemen. I went and looked at and drove the tractor yesterday. It just isn't something I felt I wanted to purchase. I got the feeling, as the visit went along, that he was just flipping the tractor since he didn't know anything about it. I would rather purchase a tractor from someone who has some intimate knowledge about the machine i.e. the machine's personality, knowledge of that tractor's history, someone who has spent time on the machine etc. – verses someone just out for a fast buck.

He did have a backyard full of all sorts of makes and models of LGTs which was really fun to see. We walked around looking at all his tractors for about an hour before we even got to the Simplicity and it was sitting out front :rolling: . Wish I had my camera with me.

Thanks again,

Kenneth

Good tractor for cutting grass but that's it. Not a garden tractor by any means but very good grass cutter
