Well, this GT has some issues. Found some things that will need fixing that I wasn't expecting would need to be. In my opinion, this tractor never did received a complete restoration. I'm mostly disappointed at the price I paid.

What's wrong with it?

Well, multiple things. The steering box has a lot of slop, though it's operational. The front crank shaft seal appears to leak. The governor shaft seal appears to leak. The engine may have other places that leak oil. The front engine pulley is bent. Two of the engine head cooling fins appear to have been JB welded at some point, and are starting to come loose.  The transmission leaks at the front. I was told that one of the oil lines leaked some at the fitting, but it appears to be more than that, if the fitting even is leaking. I don't think it's coming from the filter base (it has a new filter on it). The front tires have some cracks.

Wow that does sound like a good amount of problems for "restored" tractor.

Update: Here's some recent pictures of my CC 123. I still have some bugs to work out on the deck, as well as new belts to put on. I also need to install the PTO clutch and engagement lever.

Here's the new one, as well as the new head gasket and carburetor mounting gaskets (need to install those, too).
