Just acquired my first cub. It's a 1969 127. Has hydraulic lift. I've been reading and looking at pictures on line as well as in the manuals I got with the tractor. Just wondering did a 127 ever come with hydraulic lift or did someone retrofit it onto this tractor. The manuals only mention manual and electric lift. Also haven't seen any pictures of a 127 with hydraulic lift. It does look original the way it's mounted on the tractor.

It was an optional factory attachment for them from IH.  I would love to add one to my 107 but just cannot justify the expense of one.

So does that mean someone had to have bought this option later from IH and installed it?

Dealer could have ordered it that way.

When I did this on my 129 the rear end had to be changed also to get the hydraulic ports.

the hyd lift was a factory option for the 127 most of them had either manual lift or electric lift, but it is a very nice up grade, espically if you have a tiller .

Thanks all for your replies. I am slowly getting to know some things about cubs. My goal is to collect one of each gt that comes from a farm equipment manufacturer. This is my first experience with Cub Cadet. So far I've got Massey, Case, Deere and now a Cub. Still looking for a Ford, and an Allis Chalmers.
