still fighting electrical problems on my 455,deck quits when it wants to,replaced pto switch twice now,temp guage does not work,replaced both sensors,still keeps flopping from cold to hot,sometimes doesn't start,now the aws isn't working,what controls the rear steer?,this thing has 1432 hours and although it looks really nice it has plenty of problems,it shouldn't have,it gets what I call extreme care and maintainace,more so than others would do,and never has sat outside,never abused,good thing I have a 620 allis chalmers to finish this things job.

It sounds like a wire has rubbed through its insulation or you have a bad connection somewhere. The most likely bad connection is a ground. These things can take alot of time to find. Good Luck, Rick

It sounds like a bad connection, perhaps a ground wire. Do you have any service info. on the 455? If not, send me a PM and I'll see if I can help.
