A friend of mine called me about a month ago and said he had a mower he needed to sell because it had no brakes and one of his guys about took his head off running it under a dollyed down semi trailer. I went to look at it and said I would take it. It was delivered to me today as I hadn't had a chance to pick it up yet and he wanted it off his property. Anyway, it looks rough and has lots of wiring issues but I hope I can get it fixed and use it to mow with since it has a Kubota D722 Diesel in it. So if it doesn't work out, the engine will find a new home in one of my many projects.

VERY neat!  My brother has an older version with two-cylinder Wisconsin power.  Its a real beast!  Will work over anything you can run the deck upon.  Also works the driver pretty hard too!  No brakes on it either.  :wallbanging:

I have ran a couple of the older models when I was in school,  one had a Wisconsin single and 36" deck and the other was 48" and a big Wisconsin twin. Both would work you to death mowing around head stones in a cemetery, but it was better then weed eating all those stones.

I haven't seen any of those around here for a long time.  I knew a guy who had one, it caught on fire for some odd reason one day.  Grasshopper was a big name early on in that market in my area, so Yazoo didn't see much business around here.

It was from a Yazoo with a twin TJD that I got the engine for one of my JB Hogs.  I mowed just a bit with it before taking the engine, and it was VERY clear the mower didn't suit my terrain!
