AO Smith of milwaukee made these first in 1915 and later sold the rights to briggs.Briggs also put them on mowers.The power wheel was sort of the start of briggs engines.Google smith power wheel and you learn alot about them.

I worked at AO Smith for many years and they had a Mint smith flyer on display in their museum.They were also put on bicycles.

Smith went on to bigger and better things such as making over 100 millon auto and truck frames.
