Workin' on my "new" '95 1641, wiring and carb problems getting done. OK!

While sitting on the Cub, engine not running, should the lift / lower lever move? Is this, doesn't move at all, another issue?

Any ideas or is this OK while the engine isn't running? Might the hydro lift lever move when the engine runs of is this a problem the previous owner didn't "mention?"   :deadhorse:

Thanks! I was ready to remove the lift lever ass'y.

Currently tryin' to get the 16 hp Briggs runnin', on its' own.

Replaced fuel pump, removed carb top and cleaned. Must 've missed something.

Engine runs usin' carb cleaner spray but, shuts down after the spray stops.

Fuel pump (new) is working.

Where might I take a look? Any help is appreciated.

4-years, Camp Lejeune. Had great times in NC!
