I used the 10 HP Troy-Bilt chipper yesterday to chip up my brush pile.  HPIM2680.JPG  Just as I finished, it started vibrating badly, shut it down, took it to the shop for repairs. found a broken "flail"  HPIM3171.JPG .  Ordered a new one @ $20.50, should be here Friday.  Since I have it apart, thought it would be easier to service, fresh oil change & clean air filter.  HPIM3172.JPG  HPIM3173.JPG  Noticed the brace on the back of the muffler was broken loose, took it off. The inside Torx bolt was a bear to get to, but fortunately wasn't overly tight!  Welded the brace back on & re-installed the muffler.  Noticed the rubber breather tube was pulled out of the air cleaner box, put it back & cleaned the dirt out of the box!

Now, just wait for the new "flail" to arrive!  ~~  Lowell
