Thanks for posting all the pics! And the written info. I looked through most of those different models. Looked like the pics were all the same.

did you ever get the transmission rebuilt.. i am in the beginningarrow-10x10.png stages of rebuilding 2 tractors (jacobesen/ford) and i have to repair the speed reducer on oneIMG_20150613_164333.jpg

If anyone out there plans to rebuild a speed reducer here's the parts that get worn out and might need to be replaced:
JAC342558 Gasket
JAC342563 Ball Bearing
JAC331572 Oil Seal (2)
JAC342529 Thrust Washer (2)
JAC342560 Needle Bearing
JAC342561 Needle Bearing
JAC342776 Thrust Washer
JAC308554 Needle Bearing
JAC458432 Snap Ring

Old Tractor, I kinda got it fixed. I got it all back together and set near the Jacobsen, but haven't put it back in yet. I ended up painting and doing some other work on it and was easier to get it done with the axle still out. Then a couple other projects popped up......

 

I am gonna try and get it back together in the next couple weeks.

I had put this project on the back burner for a long time but today I got off the gear reducer. Now I have to pull the trans from my 800 and take off that gear reducer and put on this trans because the one in the 800 now the hubs are shot.
