Have any of you ever designed, fabricated, or made anything out of a old garden tractor other that what it was designed for?

I have a old International LB single cylinder engine that is very heavy and a royal pain to move around by myself . I decided to build a carrier for this engine from a old Craftsman garden tractor that has had nearly every usable part removed and used on something else. Only thing left on it was the 4 tires , front suspension and rear axle.

I fabricated a trailer tongue, like on a hay wagon to the front end,  mounted that International engine on its back.

The little rig pulls and steers very good.

Now I can pull the engine to my sawmill hook it to my slab saw with ease..

I would like to hear some of your ideas..  inventions out of junk ..  (That's what my kids call it )  LOL..

About 10 years ago we built a pirate ship over the top of a JD 216. I think we ended up having to foam the tires, it got a bit out of control.
