I need a colter for a 10" Brinley plow. This will complete my Panzer collection.

I guess I need to learn how to post in the classifieds. I couldn't find where it said "wanted" and I didn't mean for it to be free.

Dan I understood your post. I've never seen just a coulter for sale by itself , lord knows
I've looked. I think you will have to find another plow for parts. You r doin the right thing and
spreading the word.

Got the Wanted sticker on it for you. At Daniels Plow Day last year, there was a fellow from Alabama (I think) that was making coulters. Don't know who it was though.

You will occasionally see them in flea markets. Usually no one knows what it's off of so a little study to spot them by sight is good.
I bought mine for my sears at a plow day in a parking lot. Guy had a bunch of stuff laid out on his trailer with his phone number.

You might be as well off to buy a whole plow on Craig's List, get the coulter and resell the plow.

Just a couple of ideas where you might find one.

They do occasionally come up on ebay. I myself purchased one from there.

Interestingly enough, they can be bought new from Brinly:  http://shop.brinly.c...-Plow_c_26.html

Adding up all the separate pieces for the coulter and clamp is just under a $100.  If you supply all the hardware and clamp yourself, you can be into a brand new one for $60 - $80 depending on how critical using their axle is.  I'm actually surprised how reasonable their parts prices are.  The coulter blade itself is only $10.54.
