Nice looking freebie. Lady must think you're going to take care of her hubby's old ride.

I'm going to try and get it running and in food working order and I plan on using it to mow with and pull my firewood cart. Someday however it will be a restoration project.

Did you look in the weeds / barn for any other attachments such as cultivators, hillers ect?

Yea I looked really hard. I took the weedeater along and cleaned the place up real nice looking for attachments. She told me he had the original IH deck before he got the woods deck but he may have scrapped the original.

The Cub is one of those tractors "some day "   for me . Those are one of the few that my wife wouldn't mind having .  They say when their running right the motor sound like a sewing machine ,,,, very smooth  ..

They do sounds smooth as silk when you get them running right. I used to mow my neighbors pasture with one and it was a sweet running little machine.

Well the tractor is torn down pretty far now and most moving parts are freed up. Only bad thing is that all the exhaust valves are frozen and frozen bad.

The motor is now just a bare block. Taking it to a machine shop to get new valve seats cut in. Then an engine overhaul. But at least this way i know the engine is brand new. Also as i was tearing it apart i saw that it has a brand new clutch and the hydraulic pump was rebuilt.

Hey guys

I started putting this cub back together since I got the block back. I ran into this part and I don't remember where it goes. Can somebody help me out?
