As you can see welding is not my claim to fame

Tim

Still have to grind everything down and weld a good bead down once I make enough metal there to not burn trough

Tim

Man you start with a pin hole and wind up with something to weld in the size of a dime

Tim

I have realized I hate welding that used to be my dad/grandpas job god I miss that man. He did all the welding He was a welder for GE on aircraft engines.

Tim

Does anyone have any tips for me and my little mig

Practice practice and more practice. Old medal hoods, car fenders and other assorted junk. Start with a cleaned up area getting rid of the rust and dirt.

Well you could get a copper spoon and place under the pin hole. Do you have weld gas? If not that will make a real difference in welding it's easier but it coasts a bit to get a gas contract

Ok went to help my friend do his leaves since I was burnt out on welding and guess what yup found a tractor to buy on the way home. Left the guy a deposit after kicking some tires. Got to go pick it up tomorrow. A big john deere is being added to the stable.

Ok so I know it has been awhile wife has been sick but I got back at it on her tractor today. So the engine is being done and I got an extra diesel so do I keep the onan for my tractor or put it in hers please reply second deck is welded up took forever but I am a much better welder now lol . Third took the crappy paint off of it down to bare metal on the fenders and yes they are indeed pink as per her request. Happy wife happy life it is hot pink omg. I will never be able to get rid of this thing if she don't use it.
