I restored my t70 2 years ago and never got to drive it because I promised my sons ex girl friend she would be the first one to drive it. She all ways loved the color or it and wanted me to get it done. Well they are both young and split up. so I got to work to finish it up. I got it running took it to the zagrey show and still haven't drove it. Monday night she came over to take it for its first ride. she loved it.

Not to be judgmental, but your son may of made a mistake letting her go. Enthusiastic about tractors, add ten points.

Chris,

We sure get off topic real quick.  There should be a ruling for posting,  'NO Girls Allowed in Pictures".  Very distracting.

Your machine was one of the best restored at the Zagrey Show.  You do such nice work.  Keep it up.

Dave

Great looking tractor and that young lady's smile says she's happy you were true to your word and let her drive it.

So, after she drove it, how long before you were on the seat and how did it drive?

Thank you Guys lol. you are all the best. of coarse my son took it  before I could.  It killed me I didn't drive it at the show. But I did keep my word. And when I did get to drive it.It was great best panzer I have driven yet. I did spend a lot of time making the steering tight. I made new spindles. and I got to use new steering gears I got from Jim at Dandy sales.

No girls allowed in tractor pictures? Speak for yourself Old Timer! You're never too old to look at girls on tractors. In fact, us Old Goats are probably the worst ones when it comes to that. We're just more experienced at hiding it. I think we can live with the distractions. Girls on tractors sounds like a good idea for a new topic. Will see what I can come up with :-))
As far as this girl resembling Kate G. - yeah, maybe in her younger years (sans cleavage). I can't vouch for that part. (Boy, am I going to get in trouble for this one:-)
