At least that's what I thought Lowes said regarding the Raven MPV 710 Hybrid tractor/mower.

However, I see on Denver Global's website, Raven is back as the 7100 model (and available with ATV tires and camo paint).  Now they don't list dealers, and have a link to become one.

Now my daughter said she plainly saw a Raven last week at one of  the local Lowes.  The other local Lowes which I normally stop at has none, and I haven't been able to get by the one which supposedly has them again.

So does anyone know authoritatively if Lowes is selling this new Raven?  I see blades for it online, but no tractor online.

I think it's a neat idea if they get the bugs worked out this time.  Would be cooler if there was a 230 volt output on that 7100 watt generator.  Imagine how easy fabrication of attachments would be.  An electric bush hog, electric scoop, electric 3PH.

Anyone else here Raven curious?

Was 'bugs' the reason why they disappeared? What issues were they having?

They had a few little trivial issues like bad electrical connections and the blades coming off.  All MPV 710s were recaled.

Well, I finally got by Lowes, and sure enough, they have the new MPV7100.

Not a bad looking rig.  It seems like they did a lot of  design work on this one.

The frame is not super heavy, but the rear end is.  Apparently the engineers intend some lighter weight quick attach type attachments.  The front bumper detaches, as does the rear bumper and tow hitch.  It would be pretty easy to fabricate a front dethatcher, a rear bucket holder, or mount a bagger.

I probably won't run right out and buy one, but will be interested to hear from those who do.

They had a display at the local County Fair ( Wright) this year.  Looked like a neat package.  They were running the fans inside the tent with it.
