So today a good friend of mine was at the Portland ind tractor show an when he went to leave apparently a horse jumped the hood of his car!! Yes I said horse an no not a wheel horse a actual horse had gotten loose on the grounds it jumped the hood of his car as he was leaving an apparently it crashed into another vehicle before they finally caught it. He didn't think the horse even hit his car but unfortunately not the case for the other vehicle I guess it broke the windshield an the horse cut it's leg real bad I came up on the scene they was trying to bandage it up to help stop the bleeding. Crazy day at Portland that's for sure!!! I hope the horse will recover

Where's horses there?  Some Amish folks around? They frequent the show, but usually Saturday for most. Horses are big and they scare me, can do damage if go crazy like that. Too many people and big strange noises at show to keep them calm if not used to that.

Where's horses there?

GL, the barn straight across from the feature tent and the barns behind them are all horse barns. So is the barn beside the trading post near where Aaron's set up.

Similar event. Sitting on a midway bench at the IN state fair and a wild eyed steer comes running by dangling a long rope. Lots of people running after him. I guess he caught a glimpse of the hamburger stand. I thought about grabbing the rope for just a second but then I'm too old to start a rodeo career. :rolling:

I was at Portland today and the announcer said the owner of the horse wanted to

thank everyone involved who tried to help, but unfortunately, the horse was

cut up too badly to save and had to be put down.
