It's hard to tell, our weather has been mild this year. Still, it seems like the smell of Fall is in the air. Also, I see birds flocking up.

Two trees in my front lawn have lost almost all their leaves!  Mother Nature has her wires crossed big time!

It feels like it's coming early this year. Hope we get a good Indian summer ( are we allowed to call it that ? Lol).

Neighbor commented last week that the robins are gone and I have not seen one since he mentioned it.  I hope we are NOT in for another winter like last winter...

Still a few Robins around here, pair of Hummingbirds too!  I have seen some flocks of Blackbirds around.  Mid-90's predicted for this week!  ~~  Lowell

In the last 21 days we've had lows in the 50's..  Not typical August weather for sure.  Gerald-  take that crap back up there!! :tapping_fingers:

Redwing black birds are gone at the church and along my drive out.  The Killdeer are still around but I don't know when they normally leave this part of the country.  Still trying to learn about this new place.   :D

I've heard some ugly rumors. Nothing official though.

In my travels through out eastern ohio, western Pennsylvania, and northern wv every week I've noticed the leaves are already getting that off green look before they change to fall colors.

Lows in the 50s already. I am not ready for this

There's plenty of hot weather predicted here for the end of the week. I haven't minded the cooler summer, one bit, since I have to work in it every day.

Hard to guess what's in store for the coming winter... Only thing you can bet on is, that it's going to do what it wants to do!

No, no! We can share.

I just looked up a you tube video on field dressing deer. The video was made in the fall of 2013 and in the demonstration the man showed the deer had a lot of fat, saying this was supposed to mean a hard winter was coming. Well, we all know how '13 turned out! Now, let's see how fat the deer are this year.

Indeed there's an east wind coming, making her way slowly from the north and it will not be long before she makes her presence known I love the changing seasons
