Looks like you were having a lot of fun there :thumbs:

 

Until you have used one it's hard to appreciate just how fast a sickle bar mower can knock down hay/tall grass/weeds.

 

Generally, I have to limit my speed due to the roughness of the ground, not the limitation of the mower.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, means a lot to hear.

 

After the funeral service i needed some alone time away from everything, i needed that.

 

My ground speed was in first gear at half throttle, medium coarse knives, sounded sweet on the pipe, the horses came running when they heard me fire up Allis and paced the fence line, they knew what was coming.
