I realize that I havent been on here is quite a WHILE so I figured that I would pop in and say HI to everyone.  As most of you know, I lost my wife back in December, well I NEVER dreamed that I would even consider dating much less get involved with anyone this quick but I have met a woman that me feel ALIVE again.  We have been seeing each other for about a month but my WORLD revolves around her!  We joke all the time about not knowing how we got where we are as quick as we did, but both of us agree that it is absolutely wonderful.  She met my kids last week and has been at the house just about everyday since.  My kids love her and that is a HUGE thing with me.  She is a simple COUNTRY girl, teacher and all around amazing person.  Since I have met her, I have spent a LOT less time online, which is a good thing for the most part. We actually talked about the Plow Day events that I attend every year and I am trying to talk her into coming to the Ball Hollow Plow day in September but that remains to be seen.  She is kind of quiet and reserved until she gets to know somone (which is why this whole relationship is a mystery to both of us because we hit it off almost immediatetly and were having conversations that most people dont have after dating for MONTHS or years) She is not big on crowds but I am working on that.......lol

Ok enough rambling on my part.............Just wanted to say HI and that I have met the MOST AMAZING woman.  I can honestly say that I have only met TWO women in my life that I felt this way about............and I married the other one!

Robert, GOD does things in His time, not ours. If He thought you needed now, He put her there for you. I am very happy to hear that you have someone in your life that makes you and the kids happy.

Now, get her a GT and we'll see you at Daniels !!

Good for you!

Dating at middle age sure is different than it was at 16 isn't it?

I was married for 20 years, divorced for a year and met my current wife.

We met in October 1993, I proposed before Thanksgiving and we were married August 6th, 1994....20 years ago!

Enjoy yourself!

Robert, you tell that lady we want to meet her up here at plow day.  Teresa is kinda reserved too, and same deal...a wonder we got together.  21 years later, and we're hosting plow days!  :D   She will enjoy herself, I guarantee it!

Daniel, when I read Robert's post I thought he was describing Teresa myself. Teresa is a wonderful, warm, lady and she will give you the "what for" right back to yah once she gets to know you.  I bet they will hit it right off.

I think so too!  Of course Teresa will be busy all morning with preparing the chili lunch, but she'll be at plow day on & off throughout the day, especially after lunch.

Robert, again, please tell her she will be glad if she comes!

After my divorce I felt I'd never date again. I met my new wife months after my divorce. We dated 6 months. Engaged 6 months. Married and now we have our little boy together. Life has a way of showing us what we thought was impossible sure is possible.
