Need Help With White 1855 Gt

My boy has one and just "broke" a driveshaft. The one that connects the deck to the tractor. 

I am not sure,by his description exactly what broke, but he said it would cost $500 for the shaft.

 

The model number of the tractor is 144-998-190(The 998 could be 993)

 

The model number of the deck is 150-993-190(The 150 could be 190, the 993 could be 998)

 

I wish I could see the damage but mower has been shopped.

Think those are Bushog brand decks and maybe diff dealer not White might have one or parts?

Good question. He has it at a shop now and is awaiting results. I was hoping to see it or at least a pic from a manual diagram so I can figure out what's what. His description was not clear to me.

Sorry it took awhile to get back to you. He said it is the female end. I STILL haven't seen the part to figure out what was broken ( I think it is the yoke that holds thr bearings).  His "welder friend" still has it.
