Something about Red... first bush hogs...then electric wheel horses....now Tri-Tracs. As if I needed another project, this sure pops on the radar by a nice young man from CT. He messages me telling me he's into GTs and a member on here. We end up trading and some cash and a 4 hour round trip later, this is what I dragged home.

Tires are shot, he was nice enough to work with me on the trade and include a tire that should work for the back. I'm working on location the front two. The tie rod bar in the front got whacked at some point in it's life and will need to be straightened out, engine he told me has spark.

Came with a harrow, sickle mower, 2 plows and something else I can't remember due to me being so tired.

Overall neat machine, I love the look of it and can't wait just to get it rolling to see how it feels.

Who else owns one of these? I have the serial number.  Weren't only 3,500 of these made?

That is a neat piece.  I love those machines.

Did it come with an air cleaner?

No air cleaner, so I'll need to find that. Goes in F & N but not R. I have not tried to move the rear tire yet, hell it's still on the trailer. It's coming home today, still at work.

Anyone have any info on those front tires? Used are fine for me if anyone has any they want to part with. 4.00x12 4 ply

I can't "get the feeling" for these Ugly little rigs myself. They ARE different for sure. Looks pretty solid and good to get the special attachments for it I guess, bet hard to find those seperate. Let's see some running pix in better light please!  Park your Arse on it to see how it fits..........ewwww!

Nice find there.  Try ebay for front tires the rims are the same as the cubs.  DB made less of these then Bolens made Ridemasters.

I've seen a few up,close and they are very cool machines. Longer than One would expect.
If everyone had tried one out, they probably would've sold better. Just to darned different to grab the market share.

Great find!  Especially with so many implements.

Tire Town has  400X12 tri ribs for $25 each.

One guy in our local tractor club recently bought some for his Allis G and said they had stacks and stacks of them and were only $19.99 each for 4 ply.

They are new, buffed Titans.  I got some a few years back for the front of my Power Kings and really like them.

I think once you can spin the drive it will go into reverse just fine.

Best of luck with the new tractor!

Wow, you got a lot of stuff with that. I see there's even a hay rake.

I know a gentleman that bought one new when he was a teenager and still has it. He said it made a lot of money for him when he was youngster. I also know of another that is sitting in a barn.

Thanks guys!

Called tire town, they don't stock that tire. The sheet shown is price lists only.

Everything is off the trailer. F&R works, working on freeing up the high/low lever.

Anyone else have any leads on that tire set?

Nothing yet, haven't been able to get out of work until 7 everyday, no time at home. I'm clearing a spot for it in the garage soon, so it will be dragged into there.

Tires are a priority, makes no sense pushing it around on a tube and a shredded tire you know?

I don't have an industrial strength fork lift like you do ;)
