Well good going Sparky!  We can call that tractor "Sparky Pig", after ole "Porky Pig"!   Wish it could make it down, but maybe next time.

So far , the plug looks like it had a clean burn without benefit of modern fuels . It was parked 20 years ago . Good compression . Otherwise a lot of work .

The PO was asked about shift on the go . He doesn't impress me as the type to do that . His answer made me feel good about that .

One infected tooth to deal with ( mine ) and then some good old wrench time .

Worked on it some today . Couldn't depress clutch , thought it was a tear down situation ..    My brother helped me rock and found clutch was depressed  Pulled it back - all ok .

Internal ign coil no spark , outboard coil being added .

Infected / bad tooth gone   My brother may be source of transportation , he needs some away time . To Ky .

Couldn't talk my bud from Vermont caper to meet us there . It would have been a long trip  for him .

Was the infected tooth rebuildable or did you have to pay a core charge?

I was lucky they didn't charge me a toxic waste fee :rolling:

The tooth in its entirety is history . A somewhat younger co-worker has all new chompers . He still smokes . I gave up cigars in 06 .   ( my mood swings are better most days ) . - Not that anybody notices ha - ha .

While my feet were propped up this afternoon , I remembered how the muffler looked pretty rugged and no need to replace it .

In fact it transported well with no need to piece it back together ( the tractor ) . Just a little recollection of the  day it came home ..

Photo11280829.jpg     Been too busy looking at other members work recently to update my own . PO was glad to see  it go to a good home . Still working on that . Tested headlights as is . Probably too much corrosion inside them to work . More later .
