I know some of the members here have enough knowledge to solve your wiring problem. Unfortunately that doesn't include me. I am looking forward to the solution. Good luck.
What is this going to run ?

I might be way off base on this but could the ignition switch shown be for a magneto ignition ? Don't they ground the ignition wire when turned off ?

What does the M stand for on your key switch?
If M is Magneto then either you have the wrong key switch, or you have the wrong coil shown.
You show a key switch for magneto ignition and a battery powered ignition coil.
I could be wrong here and if so please tell me.

Not enugh info for me to go on, but I'd tend to agree that the M on the key is to ground a magneto, and it's been retrofitted. First question is what's it for, next would be find out what has continuity for each key position on your switch. An ohm meter or a test light will work, but we need to know what goes where in all three key positions. I recon my last question is if that's a starter/generator shown than it should have more than one con. on it.
Sorry that's all I got...What was the participation prize again....

You guy are right.
Wrong ignition switch for a point ignition system.
The "M" terminal is used to short the trigger signal to ground to kill the spark.
Will require an ignition switch with an "I" terminal.

Yes you guys are correct it has all these components on one tractor it has rectifier & not regulator also it has stator instead of starter/generator it is a 10hp Kohler with stator, coil, points, condenser, solenoid & starter ! It may not be possible with this type of key switch but that is the only optional component i can change out right now ! If you have another key switch in mind that would work please feel free to substitute it ! I have many others i could try[attachment=7634:8374.attach]here this might help more
