I just bought a Simplicity Squire 9 and am looking to restore it and use it around our 8 acres. I live in southern oregon and there aren't a lot of tractor implements out west and i am looking to just cut grass and was wondering it there are newer mower decks that you can put on this mower without to many modifications? thank you for the help.

Welcome to GTT. You have a great GT there although 8 acres may be too much for that small of a tractor. My early Simplicities and early Allis Chalmers use the same attachments. Check around, there are plenty of attachments out there. Check out our Manuals Section for some of the brouchures and www.simpletractors.com for the history. Good Luck, Rick

Welcome to GTtalk, sorry I missed this thread but if you have a Squire then it's a Simplicity built Montgomery Wards sold GT. Any of the Allis B-1 thru B-212 or similar Simplicity tractor attachments will work on your Squire. I hope you will post some photos of your tractor.

Welcome! As mentioned, your best bet is to find Simplicity and Allis attachments of the era. The only piece to avoid is a 48" deck...it wont fit your Squire. (Which is too bad because you have a LOT to mow!)

Your place sounds great! The Squire does too....they are scarce, and the 9hp model is a tougher one yet to find.

8 acres, sounds to me like you need a wiiiiiide tow behind finish mower.
