I have pretty much decided to keep my sunstar and fix it up and run it. I got a plow with it but its the standard simplicity plow, that mounts where the mower deck does. how do i hook up the hydro lift? I was given no mounting brackets or linkage with the plow. Or do i need a plow that mounts in the back of the tractor with a long frame so i can just hook it on the deck lifting chains? Thanx

I'm not sure what you have. Please post some pics of the tractor and the plow. Then we can help you. Good Luck, Rick

Doesn't appear to be the right plow for your Sunstar.

That plow is for the tractors built in the mid 70's, not for a Sunstar I think. Does it measure 42" across? The mounting frame is similar for a SS, but the two bars bent and welded together are for the older units. I can't tell if the plow has the slot for the angle cylinder.
