I live a couple hours from MIS and glad I do. I was down in that area one year picking up some equipment I had bought and ran into the traffic so I ended up doing several miles of two lane dirt road to get around it.

I at one time was a big NASCAR fan and watched all the races on TV. You have to have cable or some sort of dish to see the races on TV now also.

To ME NASCAR is a joke any more. Used to be the car company had to built and sell 500 models to the public before the race teams could buy the bodies and fix them for race trim. Now days they take FWD cars and run them as rear wheel drives. Points system is a joke also so we see JJ winning year after year the news reports. They also won't put wet tires on and race in the rain.

I now watch GP racing for the speed rush. I also like the boats on the Detroit river, and Saginaw river.

I don't. Not within a few hours at least. I used to love nascar but as alleyooper said it's a joke now.

Everything is for making money these days. Same goes for all sports.
