I have an internal coil (MAG) that goes under the flywheel on a TR10-D and I would like to check it to make sure it's good before putting the flywheel back on. How can I check it?

Brian, there is a TR 10D service manual in the manuals section with instructions for checking the magneto.  It looks like a resistance test.  If that checks out and your magnets are good you should be sparkin!

So I downloaded the WIS. manual and I can't make heads or tails out of it. It would appear that I need some kind of special tester to test the coil the way the manual says how to do it.

 

Can anyone tell me how to test it with a Multi-Meter??
