I was told I have found a new way to waste money. I have this dump cart I bought new about 14 years ago and did not take very good care of it and the front floor rusted through. So I bought a 4x8' sheet of diamond plate (which cost about what a new cart would cost) and my grandson came over today and cut it for me and I am going to bolt it inside to reinforce the floor and make it look pretty.I am going to paint it blue to match my Ford GT'S. Of course you can't haul anything in you might scratch it. lol Here some pictures of the work it process.I will post pictures when it is all painted and decals in place

Clearly, you're not very good at wasting money, otherwise

you would be putting Stainless angle around the top  edge of

the box. :smilewink:

Don't paint the angle.

Nice looking insert. New life to old iron is always neat.

Looks awesome!  Might need to do the outside so it matches - which would be even more wasteful but twice the fun.

Umm! Looks like alum or stainless metal? Right or wrong?  I would leave it unpainted if so, and would like like "show" item then. Paint outside is fine, but think inside looks great as is.  Course if this is just plain metal......Never Mind!

it is alum and will be left unpainted, all it will be used for is to pull around the show. I have another one to use around the house.I do use the show tractors for whatever is needed. somebody that saw it today suggested doing the outside too.  I am thinking.

Last time I had to get some of that diamond plate it cost me $380 for a sheet of 1/8" thick.  that is a n excellent way to waste money, but it looks good when it is done.

I think it would look great with painted blue outsides, then the aluminum diamond fenders to accent.

Looks good . I think of it as paying for your own
therapy and thats helping yourself so it's OK
and not a waste of money. They say diamond
plate is the best medicine .

And I'm on board with the fenders!

It's your money, waste it as you want.

Personally, I don't think it's wasted at all.  It looks great.
