I am usually not into common tractors but for some reason always wanted an Cub Cadet original.  Any way i went to a friends house to Fix his 782D yesterday and spotted an original sitting in his yard, Long story short i bought it today for $100.  It is in alright condition and has a mower deck, when i got it it had no spark. after a little work it has spark, but the carburetor leaks a lot and the float has a hole in it. So it needs rebuilt.  The serial number is 19288 what year would that be? I cant wait for Monday so i can get a rebuild kit for it and finally drive my Original

With that serial, I think it is from Oct. 1961.

anyone know what a new float, needle and seat, and gasket set would cost, and also the gasket that goes between the carb and the block
