Local auction has an interesting home fab looking tractor up for sale... Anyone have any idea what this is??

Sturdy looking beasty whatever it is. Looks like that plate under the seat is solid steel for weight I'd guess.

Boy, it looks like a home brew to me as well. Even the steering linkage was cut to length and rewelded.

Thanks for the replies. I wished I could have went to the auction just to see it in person. If homebrew, don't understand why they would mount the engine transverse like that.
