They do make big airguns now clear up to .25 soon o be .35 caliper.
I got a gamo big cat at 1250 fps usually use pba or hollow point lead ammo like to get another that shoots 1800fps and is 22 cal

I was looking at some of the .25 caliber air guns, but they don't break 900 FPS.

I had a .177 caliber one that would shoot pretty fast, but it fell off my work bench somehow and bent the barrel.

Glad that you are getting the problem under control.

last spring through summer i set a live trap. Removed 40+  combination of racoons, oppossum, and feral cats.   And one stupid blackbird.      This year we have only captured 1racoon and two oppossums.  Each was a large female in the early spring.  Hopefully they have been suffeciently thinned out.   Rick

I use a pellet gun also, but its a 12ga one. Double barreled, with #4 buck, don't ever miss, on gophers it kill and buries them at the same time.

Black bears are a natural woodchuck repellant. You should look for one of those. Work great for salmon infestations, also.

I hate them bass turds ! I've been trying to make them extinct in NJ for many years. But for some odd reason I haven't seen that many this year. I've only killed one. I trap them in a havaheart trap then drown them in a trash can full of water. I used to shoot them from the back porch, but the wife wasn't happy with the .22 holes in the screens. I've lived in this house for 13 years. My guess is that I've reduced them by 75-80
Keep up the good work Alan !!
