Know exactly how you feel Bob.
I end up having a lot of the things that i want shipped but the problem with shipping is that some times the shipping cost more than what the item is worth in the first place.

This is what annoys me the most about the deal. My J.D. dealer is 1 1/2 hours away and it'll cost me over $20.00 to have a small part delivered, and more than that in fuel if I go to pick it up. Generally it'll be tomorrow before it gets here by delivery. At least if I pick it up myself I do get the right part!

Two 1/2 weeks later and my Simplicity parts has finally arrived at the closest Simplicity/Briggs dealer, in this case it was not common off the shelf parts but warehouse stock from Wisconsin so no driving for this one.


Location also seems to play a big part in this, each state and country seems to be a little different.
