Had a fun filled day with the old man and MF10diesel at a local show today. At the end of the garden tractor pull they let us exhibition pull. The old man had the longest hook of the day with his hdt1000 with a hook of 94.5 with me right behind him at 91 with my allis 920 and that was after I was the pull back all day. What surprised me was that the old man was also 300lbs heavier than me and we were so close.

Good job on the pull

The HDT is definitely a beast :D :D :D

I have mine 'loaded for bear' with Rim Guard in all 4 tires and 110 lb. wheel weights on each rear tire.

I wanted to make sure that I have enough traction for plow days.

Just curious, was he pulling in Hi range or Lo range?

One of these days I'd like to try pulling a GT.  Thanks for sharing!

Glad you had a good time, that looks like fun. It's crossed my mind a few times once I get deeper into this hobby of trying this. Nice pics too.

That is a lot of weight. The tractor must be a beast.

I'd love to try pulling with my HT23 - but the local pullers won't allow anything with twin cylinders! I've also been told that my hydrostatic transmission won't work.. and that my 26 inch tires are to big. I think the single lung cub boys are just afraid of the big ole bolens lol.

Perhaps I'll build one of my tube frames one day to pull?
