Does anyone know if the grills on the MF 12 is the same size as the MF 7 or 8? I can buy a nice used MF 12 grill locally but it is kinda far away. If I know if it will fit my MF 7 or 8 I'll go get it. Thank you.

Off the top of my head I think the 10/12 use the same grill but it is taller then the 7/8 grill. More silver horizontal bars. Compare pictures of the 8 and 12 and you should see the difference.

10/12 and 14/16 are the same as far as I know. 7/8 are shorter top to bottom. One less silver bar.  Noel

Same engine bonnet for all, just shorter for 10/12 then shorter for 7/8. Noel

There are some differences on the hoods for the MF7 and MF8s.

Some have the hood flared out, on the left side, to accommodate

the flywheel shroud.

IE:, the MF7G Electric start.

And here are 3  MF8 hoods. Seams they all have the flared cut out.

Maybe these differences, are also serial # dependent.

I don't think my 7 has the flare out. It was an electric start model. Noel.

But would have to look to be sure. It's not out of storage yet and may not be this year.

I should of said, same front nose cone for all, maybe, as we can see some differences in engine bonnets as the bonnets go back to the dash. Noel
