   FRIENDS:

I am in the process of repairing a CASE 444 transaxle  and need some advice.  Does anyone know what type of bearing puller

is required to remove the brass axle bushings from the transmission housing ?

The brass sleeve bushing is  recessed  1 - 3/4   to   2.0 inches deep, ( so a puller would need about  2.5" straight shank fingers

to reach the back side of the bushing ).

Any information that anyone may offer will be appreciated.

 thank you:

Welcome to GTTalk. Have you taken a look at our manuals section. I think there is a transaxle manual in there for the Case tractors. That may give you the info. you need.
