Does anyone know which make/model of GT it is meant to fit?

There is a spreadsheet over in the Haban Yahoo group, but my

computer is not co-operating, and won't let me open it.

I would say it's for a Ariens or New Holland because that's what a 409 fits. Most of the time the letter added is just a later unit

And I got this from the Manuals here just look for it under attachments

Haban has an R&D/QC dept in the basement of the Racine plant. I spent quite a bit of time down there when I was employed there in 89. I will not post any contact names there ( I certainly wouldnt want anyone to do the same with me) without their permission, but That would be a good place to start asking. I know they kept detailed records during that time at least. There may be a library there I dont know about?

I will reach out to some of those folks and ask what kind of info they can convey.

I would be very interested in any Bush Hog Garden tractor, Haban information I can get. I have several different models and would like to convert one to fit one of my Bush Hogs.

Dritt,

I know the Erwin Haban, Joe's nephew, managed to get a lot of stuff on microfiche from Agri-Fab, and was going to get it put into PDF format.

That was probably a year or more ago, and I haven't really heard any more about that project.

If you are still in that area and know Erwin, maybe he might have some input.

Will do. While I was there, I was on the CASE-IH, deutz allis and Craftsman blowers, mowers and sickle bar lines (assy) then the paint line. On the lines, we had the tech drawings but rarely ever needed to use them. That is the extant of the paperwork that was ever in my hands. I am now up by Appleton but will stop by the plant and see what I can dig up next time I visit relatives (which may be thanksgiving).
