Thank you very much to everyone who brought items to display and Brady, who came all the way out from Ohio just to check it all out! A special thanks to the Black family who brought enough items from Maryland to have their own show and my close friends Jim & Ellen Haynes for making numerous trips from home to set up Dandy sales AND have a nice number of items on display. Also, thanks to Jim and Tammy Dickson for making the trip from York, PA and Dave Arrighi for the classy display of Penn push mowers and trimmers.

I'm STILL cranked about the whole event and am already toying with the idea of maybe doing the same thing at the Zagray farm every July. Although we wouldn't be the featured tractor, there's nothing saying we can't have an annual gathering there. I like Andrew Black's idea of calling it a reunion. Let me know what you think.

:rocker2:  :rocker2: Super pics Al.  Can't thank you enough for a job well done.  I met some really nice people,  Brady from Ohio, Jim from Pa.  The Black family from MD,  Chris from Ma., Mark from RI and many more that are not on GTTalk yet.  The weather was about as good as it comes.  Learned a lot from Jim and Ellen of Dandy Sales.  I wish we could do this every weekend.

Waiting for more comments,

Dave

The reunion thing sounds great. I know this could really get big. Go for it. I'll be glad to help.

Yeah - I'm thinking that future gatherings would be more of an informal annual reunion. Andrew Black coined that term for our gathering and I liked the sound of it. Man - you had to love that guy's enthusiasm. It was kinda contagious.

Anyway - the Simplicity guys were doing that at Zagray for a few years and always had some nice machines on display, although not as many as we had.  I thought we got a good amount of attention from the general public and the club seemed to be impressed with what we had going on. In fact, it was the club president and another member were the ones who dug the late model Penn Panzer out of the weeds and dropped it off with the fork truck Sunday morning.Hank Tanner from Warren, CT showed up with his Panzer on Sunday which made 31 in all by my count. We didn't have a huge amount of tractors, but as Ellen Haynes said - "What we had was a good mix".

I'd like to see the Beaver guys do what we did for next July. That would be interesting!

Who was the guy who showed up with the restored dump cart? I wanted to hitch that up to the wife's tractor to get some pics but didn't get to it before he left. I think he said he was from CT.

The guy with the dump trailer is from CT.  His name is Bob but that is all I got.  I gave him my card and the address of my printer guy for a gold sticker I had made and he could use on the trailer.  Its kept on file there.  I also tried to talk him into joining GTTalk.  We'll see if he shows up.

Kinda strange that I've never seen that tractor and cart at any other shows. I would have remembered it for sure - even at my age :D

Let's not forget that there are three shows at Zagray every year and there's no reason why we can't bring Panzers to all of them but I would make the annual reunion for the July show. The next show there is on Oct 4-5.

FYI, we've got at least five threads in three different sub-forums relating to Zagray and most of them have pictures.  You may want to check them all out if you want to see all the pictures.

I just posted my pics in the thread in the "shows" sub-forum.  http://gardentractor...-colchester-ct/
