Has anyone had luck with putting non stock carbs on GT engines? Tell us about your successes.

What are you looking to do?

I've used Tecumseh carbs on briggs engines. I've used mikuni carbs on both.

It works. Usually requires an adapter. I've never tried a slide carb on a fixed throttle application.

How did you decide what to swap? Did you chose a similar throttle plate diameter?
