does anyone know the manufacture dates for the 200. I know it says they were made in 1975 and 1976 but I'm pretty sure it was actually less than 12 months production . Thanks Jeff

I think the 200 was only produced in 75, although some would have still been in dealer stock the next year. You could tell year of production by ser no.

Yes mine is a 1975 by serial number.

I also have a 200 however mine was repowered with a 10hp kohler. If you have the correct 8hp kohler with all of the correct shielding take care of it because the shields are impossible to find. I am about ready to sell mine because I can`t find shields and I already have a 210.

Its all original but needs rebuilt the sidecovers with the tiny holes

I got a 200 last fall at a auction,luckily mine has the correct side shields,got it running good then the governor started not working,its either idle or super fast no in between....man what a smooth running little engine ,im keepin mine just cause I know they are not easy to find,i have sold other rare ones too that I wished now I wouldn't have
