As usual the local auction company had a sale this last Tues. Wouldn't have bothered me to much but they were selling off more of a older gentleman's collection of treasures and I had to be at the lake with the family. So with the help of fellow member jdslednut (thanks again Jeff ) I was able to add to my "inventory". I had a pretty long list of things and he did great!!

So we'll start off with a walk behind sickle mower that I'm not sure on the make. It has a brides model 6 on it but don't know if its original or not. The only markings is on sickle guides that say Jari.

Then next is a one wheel walk behind that looks to be a Montgomery wards. Kind of a unique little thing that is in fairly decent shape.

Also got a bunch of misc engines. A few Briggs , some Power Products, Jacobson, Lauson, Wisconsin, and a few parts saws.

Really happy about this FH Briggs. Its all loose and almost complete.

Now this one has me stumped. Never seen one like this before. It has a generator off the back of it with no id plate or stampings. IMG_20140718_200202_390.jpg IMG_20140718_200224_647.jpg IMG_20140718_200235_700.jpg

I did also end up getting the "mystery machine" Jeff had posted a while back. Need to get it home and will post more pics of it along with the Bolens lawn keeper I also got.

The first sickle looks alot like a machine that I have. Are you missing a wood connecting rod for operating the blade? Mine has a sheet metal sheild over the front. Good Luck, Rick

The sickle bar mower is a eclipse tornado. There is suppose to be sheet metal cover that made it look like a jari. The picture is not mine. Its just a picture on the net.

I think the generator is a Delco but not sure of the model.

Here's a few more pics of the mystery machine. It has a Wisconsin AKN on it. This thing is definitely home made. The front spindles are two different sizes, wondering what was on the front for wheels when it was put together.
Also a few pics of the Bolens Lawn Keeper.

The mystery machine is really neat. What are your plans for it?

It'll get operational again. Probably not with that engine though. Have to try and figure out some type of brake system for it. I don't know if I'd want that much weight in motion and have to try and stop all of the sudden.

Glad to see you got them home.  I hope they weren't to bad to load.
