That's a Simplicity / Montgumery Wards from the late forties or early fifties.

That's a Simplicity / Montgumery Wards from the late forties or early fifties.

yup that what it is, just picked up one with a whole lot less parts than yours does, but its got some nearly perfect knobby that are hard to find. Love to have that vator setup.

 

 

 

 

 

just looked at the link, hard to believe their going to get anything close to that money for it. maybe $150 if it runs ok. its not from the 30's but from the late 40's, and I think its a Simp model B. Simp used briggs and Wards had mostly wissys or Clintons.

Yup...its a very early Wards...'40's. Riverside Power Grip tires and early style Simplicity handlebars and control levers. Cultivator is 100% Simplicity and pre-rubber gauge wheels.
