Morning Neil,

Our site sponsor Ben of Old Path Equipment might have what you are looking for, on the main GT Talk sit page scroll down a bit and you will see his site, give him a hollar.

Welcome to GT Talk, there are members here who own the Briggs Z engines and could assist.

I do have one for you.  It is a salvage carburetor.

hey thanks for the info guys  well after 6 times rebuilding mine I found out today the napa kit I was trying to use was the wrong kit . got a briggs kit today and it fired up first pull. but its running rough no matter how I adjust the jets and I have fuel coming from the head gasket think I need a valve job.

It sound to me like you are getting far too much gas.  Is there any dripping out of the weep hole on the air intake side of the carburetor?

I do have gas dripping out when I first start pulling it over. but after it gets running it stops but it is coming out of the head just to the right of the carb intake. I tried opening the throttle but it doesn't ramp up it just starts bogging down. so I turn the throttle back and it clears up but it isn't spitting any fuel out of the exhaust pipe it just drips out of the head?
