This is an old machine, and may be a "needle in a haystacks" chance of finding help, but I thought I'd ask.....

Anyone know of/ have experience in working with Hahn-Eclipse, walk-behind, snow blowers? I need to replace the v-belt, on mine. The belt is "locked in" and I think I am going to have to split the drive line in order to replace the belt. I've done this procedure, on newer machines, where taking the front and rear sections apart was just a matter of removing a few bolts. However, this blower is not sectional. The intake, fan housing, and trans frame are all one welded- up unit. I tried removing the impeller, thinking maybe it would let me slip the belt out the front, but no dice on that end, so I'm guessing it has to be split from the back. Like many things that I work on, it would be easier on my back to flip this over to work on, but his thing's old, and built like a tank, so it's plenty heavy. Maybe I could get a rope and string it up in a tree!:laughingteeth:

Thanks for the reply, Brian, even if it is just a picture....That's the exact machine!! Even has the "Snow Giant" in the picture!!! His image is painted on the sheet metal brace between the handle bars.

Too bad it's not a Bolens.... then you might have had a manual for it!!!!
