I have a Clinton engine.  The specified plug is a J-8, which I understand is NLA.  I can get CJ-8 or J-8C plugs.  Which is more correct looking?

CJ-8 is a short version of the J8C.  J8C is my plug of choice for every old four cycle engine except for the Kohler K series and some two strokers.

What do you use in the Kohlers?

I use an H10C for the K241 and up.  The official book says CJ8 for the K181 and below.

A lot of large bore two strokes use H10C also.
