Well------  I got lots of work done since the last time I posted, I have all the electric controllers in and was riding it around for a bit.  I took it all apart and started the painting.  I am going with a deep green paint with dark red highlights, rims, seat and steering wheel.  I hope to have it done for the truck show in Saratoga on the 28th.

Got it all painted and assembled the other day, Looking real good.  I had the chassis all assembled and setting in the garage and izabelle my daughter asked to take a pic of it, I had it covered up with a  towel to keep the red overspray of so I told her to take the towel of and have at it.  Not sure what happened but in the end she way crying and very upset and my tractor was upside down in the garage.  scuffed the paint pretty good and on of the battery's got loose and dented the hood pretty good.

Not to bad to repair, had to re-sand the top of the hood and remove the dent.  Oh well I needed to take the hood of to add a few more charge wires to it anyhow. Pics were taken just after I got it righted and put it outside so I could re-arrange the garage from the spill.  More pics tomorrow.

I have had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  There was more damage than I thought, the worst was the dent in the hood. that has turned into a problem, sanded the top down and re-sprayed it, the top coat got under the primer and lifted it a bit so I had to sand and re-paint the top two times. today I went out to put the final coat on and for some reason the spray gun decided to hold a few bits of red in it and put it down on the hood :mad2:  tomorrow I am going to polish it out and leave it, I really have had enough. tired of things going wrong.

The tires were all mounted and ready to go, put air into them tonight and one had a hole so I had to remove that and re-pair, of coarse that chipped the paint on the aluminum rims, now I get to re-pair that.  I really just want this done .

Sorry no pics tonight, maybe tomorrow if things go better

Well here goes, Got it done today.  Al painted up and assembled, works good and looks great!  the only thing I am worried about is the motor controller I have on there, I can ride it around for a few in and it will start to smell hot and smoke a little.  I don't think it will make the long haul, if it fails I am going to put a rocker switch on there for reversing the polarity to the motor and then put a clutch on the belt drive, I am thinking I should have done that the first time around.  What do you think??

I will get better pics tomorrow
