Well been kinda looking at small bikes. Looked at Royal Enfield yesterday and was thinking on it. Was going to Yam dealer to see that new 400 single and thought would stop in to HD dealer in Wabash just to look. Had a beautiful 99 Sportster Custom with only 2500 miles on it, all orig.  Fell in love and spend about same money as the other would have been, but more popular to sell later if I wanted. SO, got financed and insured and drove home! Been long time since on bike much, will have to go ridin' and practice. Vibes a bit, and mirrors don't work on road, but think I can get some rubber cushion style that will be better. Need to move or change handlebars to just back and up slightly and be good to go. It also came with a duo seat for Mama to ride, BUT.........she now hates me that I got money for it and is hopping mad today and un-talking!  Dog house for a few days looks like. Can I come to anyone's house for a bed and meals??? :toilethead: :shoot2: :smilewink:

Well, dumb me came home from a ride. I go up my gravel drive HILL to maybe go in garage. Halfway up I decide I need to come up diff and go around a car there. Stopped. Started out with letting out clutch, and it spun right away and I layed half over. Was able to keep it up tho. Then, got off to grass and little slope, gave a little gas and it flew right out from under me again. I went down all the way this time. Wife had just cut grass and was wettish, and with too much throttle, bad deal. SO......had to go to house and ASK if she would not say "Told You So" type stuff and we both had to upright the bike. She stated I was "too Old" to be on a bike anymore!  Well, pride was broken for awhile. Managed to get to street and up that too back garage safely and is now in my shop. Might have to cover it in there, with all the dusts and junk I do in there. Really want it in house garage, so will be doing that tommorrow if it doesn't kill me!  Kinda makes me wonder what would be to lay over on street or parking and not get it up???  Maybe should have gotten a dirt bike? Ha!  Nothing was damaged, lucky me, cept my Soul.  guess I need a Trike then. I put the extra double passenger seat on it, just one bolt in the fender to hold it on. Now Mama can ride with me.....Yeah! Like she will get on it now!
