On the twenty-first of this month i will have put in 45 years of employment with the same company. I was allowed to pick out a gift as an award.  I chose a "Grandfather Clock".    It turned out to be more of a curio cabinet with a clock at the top.  But is still a nice unit.   I already had a couple of Mantle clocks that i had received for earlier service awards, and placed them inside this one.   The wife likes it so that means i am happy with it  also.  :D

With shoes on i am 6' 1".    The pics show the size of the clock.  Rick

Judging by the box, I'm going to say it's Howard Miller.

Congrats for 45 years of service. You must have started working there as a student! It's very good of your employer to give you such a generous gift to recognize your commitment to the business.
