Any of you fellow John Deere collectors out there know which type of headlights were used on a 60 lawn tractor, the bug-eye headlights like used on a round fender 110/112, or the panel type headlights like used on a flat fender 110/112/120/140? Personally I think the bug-eye headlights, but I'm not sure. I know it would be a lot easier to drill the hood for the bug-eye lights, rather than drill the grill for the flat fender lights. The year of the 60 that I'll be working on is a 1969. I know the early 1966 and 1967 60's used the bug-eye lights, but '68 and '69 has me a little baffled.
Round Fender Bug-Eye Lights:
Flat Fender Panel Lights:
I know the tail light for the '68 and '69 models were a standard rear light like used on a flat fender 110/112/120/140, which is an easy problem solved, it's just trying to find pictures of a 60 lawn tractor with the headlight package. If I can't find the help I'm looking for, I'll more than likely just use the bug-eye lights, since I already have an extra set on the shelf. Any help would be appreciated.
