Good idea getting four of them.

Now you already have a spare when the next one breaks.

 

I'm not familiar with this tractor but I'm assuming that there is a matching ball joint on the other end of this rod ?

How is the condition of that ball joint ?

Fella next to me had a nice 1/2 socket set, and that along with my adjustable wrench did the trick.

That ought to last you for awhile. 

 

If it is original, it lasted for a long time.  The ball joints on the standard forklift I used to run regularly blew up about once a year.  That was almost one to two thousand hours, though.

wow off the subject but did anyone notice the parker( hannafinn ) hoses that's real spiffy and a big thumbs up for the choice that company used to build there one pump line about 15 miles from me just across the ohio line but i think they moved production to another plant , still a good choice  :thumbs:

You are the 2nd person to comment on the hydraulic hoses.

 

We were at a gas station and another fella checking out the FL noticed them.  He said that he worked for Parker, bit not the division that made the hoses.
